That’s how long it has been since we last posted. Crazy.
Those four months whizzed by. We saw Halloween, Christmas, New Years, multiple birthdays and tons of bullshit.
Meg dyed her hair for the first time since the new millennium and remains firmly on her path to becoming a weird dog person.
Leigh’s four months have been a bit more heavy duty. Sharing serious news is more difficult for us, we love the light-hearted, silly shit that gets a laugh. Unfortunately this is not so funny, Leigh and her husband have separated.
The separation was not reason we stopped posting, the break was about the kids. We always knew we would reach a point when sharing became over-sharing. This blog has always been for adults, but when your kids friends start reading, things change. No one is being bullied or messed with, rather maturing. To be clear, our kids are totally comfortable with us acting like knobs. They get us. We are very comfortable sharing the trials and tribulations of parenthood. A blog, as personal as it seems, is just a curated slice. We share what we want, in the way we want to.
We have missed a number of things about blogging; but mostly we have missed taking the piss.
