Fitness Friday

As some of you know, both Meg and I are Crossfit coaches, we also have our Olympic lifting certification; which  means when we say snatch, we don’t feel weird about it.  Meg has always been more hardcore about Crossfit; more committed and competitive. I rarely beat her, mainly because I just don’t give a shit.  Sometimes she will start yelling expletives at me, Wizz will also get in on the action and instead of inspiring me to push myself, I just end up feeling embarrassed for them.

I have decided this weekend, I am going to go all-out and really push myself.  A friend posted a wod they completed from Crossfit Linchpin, Meg and I are going to tackle it on Sunday. Here it is:

For time:
400m run
20 Burpees
400m run
19 Burpees
400m Run
18 Burpees
etc, etc, etc…until…
400m run 1 Burpee

*Time cap is 60 minutes. If you have a weight vest, 20/14, wear it.

The weighted vest is way too extreme for me, besides I’ve got enough weight on me, I don’t need to add extra. I want to encourage you to do it too. There is no equipment required, which I love.  If it seems too daunting cut the distance and burpees in half. 200m/10 burpees, down to one.
