CoolSculpting. The Results Are In.

By Wednesday, March 29, 2017

leigh-coolsculptingHave you heard about CoolSculpting? Meg and I had the opportunity to try it out in November at  Dr. Boulos Medical Spa.

CoolSculpting is a non-evasive procedure to get rid of stubborn pockets of fat, in laymen’s terms, it freezes your fat right off. Common treatment areas include the abdomen, chin and thighs. We were intrigued. We eat right and exercise regularly, but like the majority of women, we have areas of fat that hang onto us like a clingy toddler; spots that drive us crazy, occupy too much of our time and self-worth.

Could CoolSculpting be the answer? We went in for a consultation, on the area that seems impervious to change; the back of our legs, right under our bum. After measuring and assessing, it was decided, CoolSculpting could help us, so in we went to have some fat frozen:

The procedure is easy and pain-free, the most uncomfortable part is when the machine first comes off the treated area. Following it’s removal you are left with a frozen zone, similar in shape to a block of butter, that has to be massaged down. I found the massage part annoying and uncomfortable. Meg however, didn’t seem to be bothered by it. Other than that, the only other down side is the time requirement. The body part Meg and I had done required the device to be on for thirty-five minutes each leg.

The results are in. Meg and I are both impressed. It literally melted fat off our inner thighs.

When it comes to the price tag, CoolSculpting is not cheap – but it shouldn’t be. It is a procedure that has science and research behind it. The benefit is, the results are permanent, once the fat cells are eliminated they are not coming back!

Don’t forget to join us tomorrow night, March 30th from 6-8pm for our inaugural Spa Night. Free mini-facials, drinks and appetizers will served, along with specials discounts and offers!!

To freezing fat!
